December Shipping 2022

As of December 02 there have been significant delays noticed in the domestic shipping speeds throughout the UK primarily due to industrial action at Royal Mail and the knock-on effects of this action. In an effort to be as clear with our customers as we can please note the following shipping situations for all orders placed with Scorching North.

Current shipping options:

All orders made on the website will be pushed to our Amazon store for fulfilment from stock held at our Amazon warehouse. Current standard shipping times (free) are around 3 business days for most of the UK. Expedited options 1-2 business days (calculated at checkout). Your shipping times are pulled from Amazon directly and so are correct at the time of checkout. We estimate the last day to ensure pre-Christmas delivery is midnight Tues 20th December (expedited).

No items are currently being shipped using Royal Mail.

Delays to your Black Friday order.

We are aware of a number of orders that have shipped over the Black Friday weekend and have not arrived. Unfortunately the tracking service the Royal Mail provide is not working presumably due to industrial action. All orders placed over the Black Friday weekend were passed to Royal Mail on Monday November 28th and a small number of orders on Tuesday November 29th. We hope that this delay will be resolved soon but in the mean time please accept our apologies as we ask for your continued patience in this matter.

[Update] Most items are now moving through the Royal Mail system and are expected to be delivered before Dec 20. Replacement items have been sent for the majority of the orders that were delayed.
